Cell phone use libraries: US$1,000 fine
Guess Singapore is not the only place that has extreme fine measures.
As reported in The Mercury News, a law has been passed to fine anyone who uses his/her handphone in the Huntington Beach libraries. The fine can go up to US$1,000 if you’re a repeat offender. The law passed is a total ban on mobile phone use in the libraries and includes even texting.
Am not too sure whether it would work in Singapore. What do you think? Post your comments.
