Whoa!! There has been a recent deluge of new search engines coming online these couple of weeks. Just found 2 more new search engines: Clush (another meta and cluster search engine) and FindArticles (a publication and article finder under LookSmart).

As librarians, we would need to constantly keep abreast of the new search engines and technologies. Even Google changes its algorithms every couple of months to help refine the searches generated. And we would need to know the subtle differences when we’re entering the keywords in our search.
