• Don’t ever steal anything from your lecturer, particularly his or her laptop which has top secret documents on it. This is the warning (a transcribe of the exciting portion of the lecture) made by the lecturer to a thief at the end of his lecture for the day. The thief meant to steal the lecturer’s laptop so that he can get access to the exam questions. But unfortunately, he didn’t know his lecturer is doing some really important and top secret stuff as a consultant to the US Government and private companies.   • Scott Sigler has created (his claims) the first “podcast-only” novel, EarthCore. You can download the chapters onto your computer or iPod and listen to the story, just like an audio book. Quite an interesting concept. Currently it’s up to Chapter 13. You can read a transcribe of the Prologue of the book.
  • The launch of “Tomorrow”. Tomorrow is “a place online for you to read about Singapore-related stuff, be it blog posts, Singapore news, or foreign sites talking about Singapore” (from mrbrown). Anyone can post in Tomorrow, even anonymously. The posts will be moderated by a group of editors.
