  • Another successful DDR nite
    DDR stands for Dance Dance Revolution, a game machine that you can see teens dancing away on at game arcades. There is a version for Playstation 2. So, what’s DDR got to do with the library?! Well, a library in the US has organised a DDR nite for teens and it was a smashing success. Go have a read and maybe we should have a gaming event at V.A.T or library@orchard. A way to attract teens to come to the library.

  • Stan Berenstain Dies
    Popular children’s book author, Stan Berenstain passed over on Saturday. He was 82. He, together with his wife Jan, wrote about 200 books of the popular series, Berenstain Bears. NLB has a large collection of the books. You can check the titles and availability here.
