- Book compiles doodlings of presidents
I guess I’m not the only one who sometimes doodles during meetings that have gone on for far too long. US Presidents have their share of doodling as well and they have compiled a book, Presidential Doodles. However, the book only covers US presidents up to the Reagan era though there were exceptions such as Presidents Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter. It would have been interesting to see if Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush ever doodled and what they doodled. Maybe for the next edition of the book.

Haven’t used Ask.com much. But I guess after reading this, I’ll start to explore Ask.com a little more to see if it’s a viable alternative or addition to Google. - Library TV
A new blog that is “exploring video as a training and promotional tool for libraries, on the web and in television”. I think it’s good blog to check out to see how libraries around the world are making use of video.

The transcript of an interview done via IM with the director of West Long Branch (NJ) Public Library that discuss the library’s use of blog software for its website and it has benefitted them. He also discusses the problems that it faces such as the notion of RSS feeds is still quite alien to the majority of its website users.
