Special Storytelling Session

Was attending a special storytelling session by Mr. Shigeyuki Noma, a guest storyteller from Japan with my son. Very interactive and fun session.
You can attend the next session at Woodlands Regional Library at 4pm today (29 Oct 2006).

"Celebrating Libraries" Book

A news article on Channelnewsasia.com on a book commemorating Singapore libraries and librarians that would be available for purchase in November. I see the need to balance between being sensitive to the reading tastes and religious beliefs of the community and the type of books that you can order for your library. I feel that it is rather extreme that books that have boy-girl relationships are considered ‘not clean’. […]

Powerbook sent for repairs

Dropped off the Powerbook at EpiCentre@Orchard yesterday for repairs after it refused to startup even after I did an ‘erase and install’. Thank goodness for AppleCare. Otherwise, the repairs might cost a bomb.
Guess blogging will be a little light till I get the Powerbook back.
