Forget Superman! Forget Spiderman! Here comes Super Librarian!!
Who’s that in between the shelves? It’s the Super Librarian!!
Today (5 May), Super Librarian will be appearing in comic book stores across the state of New Jersey as part of the Free Comic Book Day. She will be fighting a villain called The Virus.
Super Librarian (the comic book) is the first ever comic book created, produced and issued by public libraries. And they hope the comic book will entice young readers to the library.
Over 200 libraries will be partnering comic book stores to distribute comic books and highlight the libraries’ collection of graphic novels as well as their teens services.
The comic book was developed by the New Jersey State Library and INFOLINK. Super Librarian is also available in Spanish. You can read the Web version here.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a link that would show me where you can buy a copy. And I’m not too sure there was any copies for sale to begin with. However, you can always read it online.
