A recent article in the New York Sun showcases the ongoing transformation of the New York Public Library.
Since I’m a techie, it was interesting to note that NYPL is actively asking their staff to share their area of knowledge through blogs. And the other one was them looking at ways to make their digitized maps interactive so that a researcher can see photos/images when they click on a certain location on the map or how an area has evolved over a period of time.
